Patricia Goedicke
Patricia Goedicke has published more than twelve
collections of poetry and various anthologies including:
As Earth Begins to End, an American Library
Association Booklist's choice for one of its "Top Ten Poetry
Books"; Invisible Horses; Paul Bunyan's
Bearskin; and The Tongues We Speak, a New York
Times 1990 "Notable Book of the Year". She has received the
Rockefeller Foundation Residency at its Villa Serbelloni; a
National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Fellowship;
a Pushcart Prize; the William Carlos Williams Prize; the
1987 Caroline Kizer Prize; the Hohenberg Award and the 1992
Edward Stanley Award from Prairie Schooner. Goedicke has
taught at the University of Guanajuato in San Miguel de
Allende. She currently teaches in the Creative Writing
Program of the University of Montana as the recipient of its
1990 Distinguished Scholar Award.
