Paul Lisicky

Paul Lisicky is the author of the novel Lawnboy and the memoir Famous Builder. His awards include fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the James Michener/Copernicus Society, the Henfield Foundation and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, where he was twice a Fellow. He teaches fiction and literary nonfiction in the graduate and undergraduate writing programs at Sarah Lawrence College and lives in New York City. His new novel, Lumina Harbor, is forthcoming. He'll be exploring how memoir might achieve the depth and intensity of poetry through image, voice, structure and characterization.
