Robert PhillipsAuthor and/or editor of over 27 volumes, Phillips' honors include a 1996 Enron Teaching Excellence Award, Pushcart Prize, American Academy and Institute of Arts Award in Literature, New York State Council on the Arts Grant, NPR Syndicated Fiction Project Award and others. His 1994 book of poems Breakdown Lane was a New York Times Notable Book. Phillips led workshops on the participants' poetry. |
