Leslie UllmanAuthor of three poetry collections: Natural Histories, which won the Yale Series of Younger Poets Award in 1979; Dreams by No One's Daughter; and Slow Work Through Sand, which was the co-winner of the 1997 Iowa Poetry Prize. She has been awarded two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships. Ullman directs the MFA Program at the University of Texas at El Paso and is on the faculty of the Vermont College MFA Program. |
